ABC Business Networking Meetings
ABC Meetings are held weekly and allow members (and visitors) time to network, as well as to discuss topical business issues.
The annual programme includes:
- in-depth analysis of one member’s business (on request) - where club members address individual issues in a practical way
Special Open Invitation Meetings, open to all interested local business people. These are held regularly, where the sessions are led by an appropriate expert on a range of topics including:
- Building customer loyalty
- “How do I get customers to pay me?” – tips on improving cash flow
- “I don’t like spam” – ways of dealing with this ever-increasing e-mail curse
- “Are you ready to meet your maker?” – preparing for the unexpected / inevitable end
- Surviving a meltdown – what if 9/11 had happened here?
- Call out the Fire Brigade – when to do this and what to expect
- “How am I doing?” – an objective look at how we come across to our clients and colleagues
- “How do I sound?” – tips to feel more confident when speaking in public
- “I can’t get the staff.” - how to address this perennial need
social events open to all, these include
- Quiz & Auction Nights
- Theatre trips
- 10 Pin Bowling
- Country walks
- Bar-B-Q
- Christmas & Social Dinners
